Job summary

KCS IT, based in Lisbon, is seeking a Senior Java Team Lead to design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular, in a hybrid setup in Lisbon. You will lead the technical direction, coordinate activities, and mentor developers while collaborating with international projects.

Ideal candidates have strong Java/Spring hands-on experience, prior leadership or mentoring roles, and a good command of English.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring technologies.
• Experience coordinating development activities within a team.
• Previous experience in team leadership, mentoring, or technical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Angular.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to technical architecture and design decisions.
• Coordinate development activities within the team.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and technical standards.
• Support and mentor developers, promoting good development practices.
