KCS IT is seeking a Mid-level Java Backend Developer to join our hybrid team in Portugal. You will work on scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, delivering RESTful services and microservices within cross-functional squads.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in backend development, strong SQL skills, testing discipline, and good English proficiency to collaborate with international clients. Hybrid role with on-site and remote options available.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend Java development experience.
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot for scalable backend apps.
• REST API design and Microservices architecture experience.
• MySQL and relational database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend Java applications using Spring/Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices.
• Ensure data modeling and SQL optimization for MySQL.
• Write and run unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
