Inetum in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to a mission-critical eTrading platform across Credit products.

The role focuses on Java 17+ development, high-quality code, and collaboration with traders and distributed teams in Lisbon, London, and New York. The position offers a hybrid work model with opportunities for growth within a globally connected environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in Java 17+.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and migration/refactoring projects.
• Front-office eTrading systems knowledge preferred.
• Experience with order management, algo engines, RFQ workflows is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Credit eTrading order management and market connectivity layers.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Location: Lisbon

Main Tasks

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Credit eTrading order management and market connectivity layers.
• Ensure the platform is developed and maintained to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
• Produce clean, high-performance, scalable, and testable applications with a strong sense of design and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of components.
• Work directly with traders and perform L3 support when needed.

Profile

• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Mastery of Java (17.0+).
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and migration/refactoring projects.
• Front-office team experience and knowledge of eTrading systems, ideally within Credit (Bonds, FRNs, CDS), is strongly preferred.
• Experience with order management systems, algo engines, auto-negotiation, or RFQ workflows is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a globally distributed team.
