The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD with Maven and Git, and exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development with a strong Java background (8+).

• Experience with QA approaches including unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of reporting or business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Exposure to JavaScript front-end frameworks like Angular or React.

Job Summary

We're looking for a Java Developer – Electronic Equities to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal in a hybrid working mode. You will work on a Client Reporting application that plays a critical role in generating regulatory and monitoring reports for equity markets. The focus of the role is ensuring timely delivery, data accuracy and high system performance. This position offers an opportunity to work on real-time data systems within an agile environment, delivering solutions with strong impact across the investment banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time data applications to support client reporting functionality
• Ensure the reliability, scalability and performance of the assigned platform and its components
• Follow agile development practices, including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing and peer code reviews
• Implement and maintain robust unit and integration testing processes to maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with production support teams for release management and resolution of maintenance issues
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide L3 support when required
• Contribute to system enhancements and new feature development aligned with regulatory reporting requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with a strong background in Java (version 8 or higher)
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, requirement analysis and testing practices
• Experience with quality assurance approaches, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing
• Knowledge of reporting or business intelligence platforms
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and build tools (Maven), version control systems (Git) and Shell scripting
• Understanding of JavaScript and exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
• Nice to have: Experience working on regulatory or compliance-driven applications
• Nice to have: Knowledge of batch processing frameworks and event-driven systems
