Inetum in Lisbon or Porto is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join its Electronic Equities team on a hybrid basis. You will develop and maintain modules for a low-latency trading platform, lead technical efforts and coordinate with global engineering and business teams.

You must have 5+ years of software development experience, incl. 2+ years in a lead role, and a strong grasp of design principles, data structures, and algorithms. English fluency is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.
• Strong understanding of design and architecture principles, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with high-load, real-time systems and electronic trading platforms.
• Knowledge of Unix scripting, Bash or Python is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Location:

Lisbon or Porto

Main Tasks:

• Develop and maintain modules, components, and utilities of an ultra-low latency algorithmic trading platform.
• Be responsible for the platform across development, support, CI/CD, and bug fixing.
• Participate in an Agile-based software development lifecycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews.
• Coordinate work with global engineering, business, and support teams.
• Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of components.
• Drive innovation in a largely greenfield environment.

Profile:

• Proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20), STL, and Boost.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.
• Strong understanding of design and architecture principles, common data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or other high-load, real-time systems.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and migration/refactoring projects.
• Knowledge of Unix scripting, Bash, or Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol or other Fintech protocols is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a globally distributed team.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
