Job summary

Genesis Digital Solutions is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend systems using Java 17+ and Spring Boot. You will design APIs, integrate with databases, and implement messaging with Kafka in an Agile environment.

You will also mentor junior developers, coordinate technical tasks, and ensure solutions align with business goals. Strong collaboration with Product Owner is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on API design and development experience.
• Proficient with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to guide juniors and coordinate technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement APIs and system integrations.
• Apply best practices for reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.
• Work with Hibernate and both relational and NoSQL databases.
