Match Profiler is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our internal team in Lisbon on a hybrid basis. You will design and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, build RESTful APIs, and work with Hibernate/JPA in a cloud and containerized environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones, follow Agile practices, and contribute to performance optimization.

Qualificações

• Educational background as Software Engineer or similar.
• 5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Work with Hibernate and JPA.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD using GitLab.
• Ability to collaborate across time zones.
• Familiar with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; English mandatory.

Senior Java Backend Developer (m/f) - Hybrid (Lisbon)

What do you need to have:

Hard Skills:

• Educational background as Sofware Engineer or similar
• 5+ Years of experience developing/maintaining applications using Java/Spring Boot
• Design and implement RESTful APIs
• Work with databases using Hibernate and JPA.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Knowledge in AWS cloud technologies services (Aurora, Lambda, etc.) would be a plus
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab for automated deployments
• Flexibility to work with people in different time zones
• Familiar or experience with agile development methodology
• Good communication and analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
• in English are mandatory
