Job summary

emagine in Lisbon is seeking a Mid/Senior IT Delivery Manager to coordinate, monitor and deliver IT initiatives within complex multi-client environments. You will drive organizational transformation, implementing structured PM processes and new ways of working.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing resistance, and ensuring alignment with business goals while maintaining delivery discipline and high execution standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT project management and delivery experience.
• Experience in technology consulting and managing projects across multiple clients.
• Strong technical background enabling effective communication with technical teams.
• Solid knowledge of project management, planning, portfolio management, execution control, and reporting.
• Familiarity with traditional and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in functional leadership, cross-functional team coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience implementing changes to processes, methodologies, or operating models, including environments with resistance to change.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects and initiatives within the IT portfolio.
• Ensure delivery milestones, timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and operational blockers.
• Provide structured reporting and regular communication to stakeholders and management.
• Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on steering committees and decision-making forums.
• Coordinate technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management and delivery processes.
• Implement new ways of working, strengthening accountability and execution discipline across teams.
• Lead change management initiatives and address internal resistance, ensuring progressive adoption of new processes and practices.
