Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Porto. The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing complex business requirements, facilitating workshops with stakeholders, and supporting project teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle. French-speaking capability and SQL knowledge are strong assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical and development teams.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-definition sessions to ensure alignment of priorities.
• Support project planning, impact assessment, and solution design activities.
• Produce process maps, user stories, functional documentation, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product owners, SMEs, and technical teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ensure deliverables meet business objectives, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Act as a point of reference for analysis-related activities, providing guidance and structure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex or large-scale projects.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and lead analysis streams.

Valuable (Nice-to-Have)

• French language skills (spoken/written).
• SQL knowledge (for analysis, data validation, or troubleshooting).
• Experience in financial services or capital markets is a plus.
