Jobgether is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain complex backend integrations across modern software systems in a fully remote role based in Portugal. You will use Python and TypeScript to develop robust APIs and scalable integration services while collaborating with a distributed U.S.-based team.

The role values experience with GraphQL, Hasura, PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), emphasizing reliability, security, and performance.

Formación

• 10+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building APIs and system integrations across multiple applications.
• Experience with GraphQL, Hasura and PostgreSQL is highly valuable.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain complex backend integrations using Python and TypeScript.
• Build robust APIs and integration services enabling reliable communication between applications.
• Architect and implement scalable solutions for technically complex integration requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services focused on reliability and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving APIs, data flows, and interoperability.
• Work with cloud environments and modern technologies as project needs dictate.
• Maintain collaboration with a distributed US-based team with 2–4 hours overlap daily.
