Thought Machine in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Infrastructure to build automation, tooling and integrations with cloud and on‑prem components. You will design scalable deployment tooling, contribute to observability, disaster recovery, and ensure reliable operations for our data and streaming platforms and Vault integrations.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure tooling and development.
• Experience building production-ready tooling in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with observability tools, DBs, event streaming (Kafka) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

Responsabilidades

• Support the engineering team in building reliable, scalable applications.
• Design and build tools to automate and streamline deployment, increasing availability.
• Develop observability and orchestration tooling for customers to monitor deployments.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, backup and redundancy tooling and strategy.
