Job summary

ROOTKey is seeking an experienced Infrastructure/DevOps engineer to design, build, and operate our cloud-native and blockchain/DLT infrastructure in Lisbon, Portugal. You will own Kubernetes-based deployment pipelines, IaC, and observability across services, ensuring uptime and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering experience.
• Hands-on with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/OVH/GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Experience operating blockchain/DLT infrastructure (node management) is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure security, monitoring, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/OVH/Cloudflare/GCP) supporting production, staging and blockchain/DLT node environments
• Own Kubernetes-based deployment pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and observability across services
• Operate and harden blockchain/DLT node infrastructure for uptime, security and performance
• Define and enforce infrastructure security best practices in partnership with the Compliance team
• Build for resilience: on-call readiness, disaster recovery, and incident response
• Continuously improve deployment speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, OVH, Cloudflare or GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform (or similar IaC)
• Experience operating blockchain/DLT infrastructure (node management, consensus networks) is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, and incident response
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, security-critical environment
