CTS Group in Portugal seeks a Primary Design Engineer to lead the electrical design of AIS and GIS substations for data centres and industrial clients in Scandinavia. You will develop physical layouts, busbar configurations, and integration with secondary systems, while coordinating with civil and structural teams.

You will use PRIMTECH and Revit for primary design, with AutoCAD and ETAP supporting sizing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in primary substation design.
• Experience with AIS and/or GIS substations.
• Experience coordinating with civil and structural disciplines.
• Experience in data center or industrial electrical infrastructure is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop physical layout designs for AIS high-voltage substations.
• Design busbar configurations, equipment spacing, and clearance management.
• Prepare primary equipment arrangement drawings and general arrangement plans.
• Coordinate with civil and structural engineering partners for foundations and buildings.
• Develop bay arrangement and layout designs for GIS substations.
• Coordinate interfaces between GIS equipment and external connections.
• Support MV distribution layout design for data center applications.
• Coordinate primary equipment interfaces with secondary, protection, and SCADA systems.
• Prepare and maintain primary design documentation for construction handover.
