Job summary

CTS Group in Portugal is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to help implement and improve HSE standards across our data centre projects. You will work with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.

The role requires a degree in OH&S or related field, 5–15 years of experience, and knowledge of regulations; NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA are valued. The position offers a competitive salary, health insurance, and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of workplace Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programmes
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
• Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses and support corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate safety training, site inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness initiatives
• Maintain HSE records, reports, permits and compliance documentation
• Support emergency preparedness planning, drills and response activities
• Work closely with project teams, contractors and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and prepare relevant reports
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend appropriate safety initiatives
