simplesurance is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will work on Go-based systems, modernize existing platforms, and build developer-focused tooling while collaborating with enterprise security and governance standards.

Strong English communication is essential. You will contribute to distributed architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development workflows, with focus on quality and reliability in production environments.

Qualificações

• Proven production experience with Go and modernizing codebases.
• Experience building tools for engineers and developer productivity.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Deep production experience with Go and modernization efforts.
• Build internal tools, CI/CD pipelines, and developer-focused systems.
• Evaluate AI-generated code and apply it judiciously in production.
• Design and operate distributed systems with fault tolerance and retries.
• Emphasize software verification and automated quality controls.
