Job summary

IQVIA Inc in Portugal seeks a Project Manager for medium to large multi-regional Connected Devices projects across all trial phases. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, timelines, and quality, and serve as main sponsor contact, ensuring client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

The role requires a life sciences or health care degree, 5+ years of project management with connected devices, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with wearables is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or health care.
• 5+ years as a project manager in connected devices, preferably wearables.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Strong leadership and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, execute, control, and deliver projects per Scope of Work.
• Serve as primary sponsor contact and manage communications and reporting schedules.
• Drive resource planning and support project teams through lifecycle.
• Lead Connected Devices cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
• Track progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions.
• Manage project financials, revenue forecasts, and change orders.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and SOPs.
• Prepare and present project information in meetings.
• Conduct end-of-project reviews and closeouts.
• Keep leadership informed of issues affecting quality, budget or timeline.
• Mentor new or junior project managers.
• Provide input on team member performance for career development.
