Job summary

IDOM is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the Infrastructure Area in Spain (Madrid or Bilbao). You will contribute to national and international projects within a multidisciplinary team, fostering project development in a collaborative environment.

Requirements include a Civil/Geotechnical/Mining Engineering degree, 8–12 years of geotechnical experience, proficiency in Plaxis, RS2, Rido, Slide, Swedge and RocPlane, strong teamwork, autonomy, and good English.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in geotechnical and foundation engineering projects.
• Experience in foundation geotechnics, shallow and deep foundations, retaining solutions, and road geotechnics will be highly valued.
• Proficient in Plaxis, RS2, Rido, Slide, Swedge and RocPlane.
• Strong teamwork and technical rigour; autonomous and innovative mindset.

ABOUT YOU

Do not hesitate to apply if...

• You hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• You have 8-12 years of experience in geotechnical and foundation engineering projects. Experience in foundation geotechnics, the design of shallow and deep foundations, the design of retaining solutions (diaphragm walls, anchors), and road geotechnics (stability analysis and support design for embankments and slopes in both soil and rock) will be highly valued.
• You are proficient in software such as Plaxis, RS2, Rido, Slide, Swedge and RocPlane.
• You have strong teamwork skills and technical rigour.
• You are autonomous and have an innovative mindset.
• You have a good command of English.
