Job summary

act digital is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a strong back-end focus to help build a secure, multi-cloud GenAI platform. The role involves back-end development with some front-end contributions, covering design, implementation, documentation, testing and monitoring.

You will design and operate APIs, build scalable services, own features end-to-end, and collaborate with an international team to improve the platform. Hybrid in Lisbon with on-site presence several days weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web application development experience in cloud environments.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js and React.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating APIs.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Cosmos DB and Application Insights.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in testing (unit and end-to-end).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation.
• Clear written and spoken English; works in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver platform capabilities for document understanding, translation, APIs, automation and agent-based workflows.
• Build secure, scalable back-end services and contribute to web interfaces when needed.
• Own features end to end, including technical design, unit and end-to-end testing, documentation and monitoring.
• Design and operate APIs and integrations across cloud services.
• Use metrics and monitoring to track adoption, reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with an international product and engineering team and propose improvements to the platform.
