Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Streams UI team to shape and enhance the user interface, working on Fleet and Streams, with a distributed team across time zones. You will design, implement, and own front-end features, collaborating with product managers and designers to deliver a cohesive UI.

The role emphasizes architecture discussions, adherence to coding standards, and the use of AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.

Qualifikationen

• Solid production experience with full-stack JavaScript (TypeScript + React + Node.js).
• Track record of leading non-trivial projects end-to-end with design ownership.
• Proficient architecture and system-design judgment in large codebases.
• Experience designing and launching multiple UI components that increase user engagement.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate feature delivery.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication with async collaboration mindset.
• User-focused mindset with people-centric software design.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement intuitive UI components using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Own complex problems end-to-end: shape approach, split work, make key decisions.
• Lead architecture discussions with a focus on trade-offs, performance, and scale.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and identify security issues while maintaining readability.
