Expleo Group in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a senior software engineer to join our engineering team. You will design and implement production-grade applications using C#/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core and Web API, and contribute to front-end work with Angular and TypeScript.

You will work on microservices, RESTful APIs, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and CI/CD pipelines, applying SOLID principles and automated tests.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering history.
• Strong background in design, architecture, scalability and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript, modern frontend practices.
• RESTful APIs, HTTP, authentication and API design.
• Microservices experience and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, SOLID, design patterns and testing.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies and CI/CD.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands‑on experience building production‑grade applications.
• Strong background in software design, architecture, scalability, maintainability and distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET /.NET Core, with solid hands‑on experience in ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, authentication/authorization and API design.
• Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization; good knowledge of SQL and relational databases is valued.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns and software architecture, with experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound technical decisions.
• Fluent English level, both spoken and written

• Event‑driven architectures and messaging (e.g. Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Cloud security and identity management.
