Expleo in Portugal seeks an experienced software engineer to build production-grade applications with a focus on scalable, distributed systems. You will design, implement and test backend services using C#/.NET Core and Web API, and develop frontend components with Angular and TypeScript.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of software engineering, strong SOLID and design-pattern knowledge, and experience with Git, Agile, and CI/CD in a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong design, architecture, scalability and distributed systems background.
• Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET with ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Strong Angular and TypeScript experience.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP auth and API design.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with MongoDB or NoSQL, plus SQL relational DB knowledge is valued.
• Knowledge of SOLID, design patterns and unit/integration testing.
• Experience with Git, Agile methods and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong background in software design, architecture, scalability, maintainability and distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET /.NET Core, with solid hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript and modern frontend development practices.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, authentication/authorization and API design.
• Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization; good knowledge of SQL and relational databases is valued.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns and software architecture, with experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound technical decisions.
• Fluent English level, both spoken and written

• Event-driven architectures and messaging (e.g. Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Cloud security and identity management.
