Jobtailor in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a senior software engineer to design and build production-grade full-stack applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Angular and TypeScript. You will shape architectures for scalable distributed systems, develop secure RESTful APIs, and implement microservices with NoSQL databases.

You will also write tests, contribute to CI/CD and mentor teammates. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of hands-on experience, strong English skills, and a track record

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/SE
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications
• Strong background in software design, architecture, scalability and distributed systems
• Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET Core with ASP.NET Core and Web API experience
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript and modern frontend practices
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, auth and API design
• Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, data modelling and SQL knowledge
• Solid knowledge of SOLID, design patterns and unit/integration testing
• Experience with Git, Agile and CI/CD
• Fluent English in speech and writing
• Desirable: Event-driven architectures, cloud security, DDD/Clean Architecture, distributed resiliency
• Desirable: Mentoring or technical reference within a team
• Desirable: AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot
• Desirable: Go and JSON Forms

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain production-grade full-stack applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience building production-grade applications
• Strong background in software design, architecture, scalability, maintainability and distributed systems
• Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET /.NET Core, with solid hands-on experience in ASP.NET Core and Web API
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript and modern frontend development practices
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, authentication/authorization and API design
• Proven experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including data modelling and query optimization; good knowledge of SQL and relational databases is valued
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns and software architecture, with experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Fluent English level, both spoken and written
• Desired skills: Event-driven architectures and messaging (e.g. Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
