emagine in Portugal is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET / Angular Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, develop and maintain scalable applications with C#/.NET and Angular/TypeScript, contribute to API design, and ensure high-quality, tested software in a fast-moving environment.

You're expected to bring 6+ years of hands-on experience, strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native practices.

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Full Stack .NET / Angular Developer to join our engineering team. You will be part of a collaborative, mid-sized team of 10–14 engineers developing and evolving products used by one of the largest mobility players in Portugal. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact software, contribute to technical decisions, and help build scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions. What You Will Do

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end full stack solutions using C#/.NET and Angular/TypeScript.
• Design, develop and evolve scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of the product's software architecture and technical solutions.
• Build reliable, maintainable and high-performance software following established engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
• Develop modern and responsive frontend experiences using Angular and TypeScript.
• Design and integrate services, APIs, and third-party systems in a distributed environment.
• Write unit, integration and automated tests and contribute to improving overall test coverage and software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and resilience.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience developing production-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, preferably with modern versions of .NET / .NET Core.
• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Solid experience with Angular and TypeScript, including modern frontend development practices.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, authentication/authorization and API design principles.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL is highly valued.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or equivalent data-access technologies.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical problems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.

Other Details

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native applications, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure software development practices is highly valued. The position may involve remote work options and is expected to impact high-scale applications.
