Findmore Consulting S.A. in Portugal seeks a senior software engineer to own a portfolio of web, mobile, backend and cloud apps. You will drive serverless development on AWS, maintain REST APIs and ensure robust integrations across cloud environments.

You will work with PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, balancing backend, frontend, and mobile needs in a cross-functional team. The role requires 7–10+ years of experience and strong AWS expertise.

Qualificações

• 7–10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native development.
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Experience with modern software development, testing and deployment practices.

Responsabilidades

• Take technical ownership of a portfolio of web, mobile, backend and cloud applications
• Maintain and support existing applications across web, mobile, backend and cloud environments
• Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Support cloud workloads running on AWS ECS/Fargate and related AWS services
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot REST APIs and integrations
• Collaborate with internal teams, application owners and technical partners
• Participate in deployments, incident resolution and root-cause analysis
• Identify technical risks and recommend pragmatic improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Take technical ownership of a portfolio of business-critical web, mobile, backend and cloud applications
• Maintain and support existing applications across web, mobile, backend and cloud environments
• Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Support cloud workloads running on AWS ECS/Fargate and related AWS services
• Make minor changes to native mobile applications, including Kotlin-based applications
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot REST APIs and integrations
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Redis
• Support AWS storage and infrastructure services including S3
• Support real-time and IoT-related cloud services and data flows
• Troubleshoot application, performance, integration, infrastructure and data-related issues
• Participate in deployments, incident resolution and root-cause analysis
• Deliver minor enhancements, bug fixes and technical improvements
• Identify technical risks and recommend pragmatic improvements
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with internal teams, application owners and technical partners.

Requirements:

• 7–10+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless development
• Experience with cloud-native application development and troubleshooting
• Full-stack development experience across backend and frontend applications
• Strong experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and system integrations
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Aurora PostgreSQL
• Experience with DynamoDB or comparable NoSQL technologies
• Experience with modern software development, testing and deployment practices
• Experience supporting business-critical production applications
• Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Ability to independently take technical ownership of multiple applications or services
• Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar technologies and existing codebases
• Comfortable working across backend, cloud, web and mobile environments
• Ability to assess the impact and risk of changes to customer-facing and business-critical systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
