iTRTech Group in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Tech Lead to guide the design and delivery of modern web applications using Next.js, NestJS, and Node.js, with scalable databases. This hands-on leadership role combines architecture, full-stack development, and technical coordination.

You will work closely with developers, DevOps, UX/UI specialists, and business stakeholders to transform requirements into reliable and maintainable solutions, while staying close to code and owning technical

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering.
6+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Next.js and frontend frameworks.
Backend development experience with Node.js and NestJS.
Experience with MongoDB/DocumentDB and PostgreSQL.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
Knowledge of Git/GitHub and source control practices.
Ability to design architecture and data models.
Fluent in Portuguese and English.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Tech Lead to guide the design and delivery of modern web applications using Next.js, NestJS, Node.js, and scalable database technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role combining solution architecture, full-stack development, code quality, performance optimisation, and technical coordination. You will work closely with developers, DevOps professionals, UX/UI specialists, and business stakeholders to transform requirements into reliable and maintainable solutions. The opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineer who wants to remain close to the code while taking ownership of technical decisions and team delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Create application and solution architecture diagrams

Essential Requirements

At least six years of professional software-development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Next.js
Practical backend-development experience with Node.js and NestJS
Experience with MongoDB or DocumentDB
Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs or gRPC services
Ability to implement server-side business logic
Experience designing application or solution architecture
Good knowledge of database design and data modelling
Experience with component-based frontend development
Knowledge of Git or GitHub
Understanding of frontend performance-optimisation techniques
Awareness of UX/UI principles
Experience conducting code reviews
Ability to provide technical leadership across project deliveries
