UMO Tech in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Team Lead) to own the back-office platform. You will lead a squad of frontend and backend engineers, build internal tools with RBAC, and own end-to-end delivery from design to production.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, architectural foresight, and close collaboration with product and compliance teams. You will work in a hybrid setup across Lisbon, Kyiv, and Dubai, with remote options and a strong focus on autonomy,

Qualificações

• Senior engineer with 5+ years of production experience in full-stack development using JavaScript, React and TypeScript.
• Experience building internal tools, admin platforms or ops consoles with RBAC, maker-checker flows and audit trails.
• Strong integration design skills with a coherent BFF layer that grows with the product.
• Experience using AI tooling (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) in architecture, coding and sprint planning.
• Autonomous delivery of features end-to-end, not waiting for instructions.
• Collaborative and transparent in an open work culture with clear communication.
• Professional English communication across global product teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, guide, and grow a high-performing squad of full-stack developers, sharing product context and conducting thoughtful code reviews.
• Own outcomes end-to-end, including dependencies on other teams; prioritize features live in production.
• Run and grow the team, setting a path for growth and accountability.
• Act as a lighthouse for your specialty, providing guidance to other teams.
• Stay hands-on and ship code on a weekly cadence.
• Design, build, and deliver internal tools, admin platforms, and ops consoles with roles and permissions.
• Own the BFF layer and broad API integration with other squads.
• Manage state and caching across front-end and relational/memory stores.
• Maintain and scale component libraries across the stack.
• Co-own deployment patterns using Docker, Kubernetes, and Flux.
