BindWorks, based in Porto, Portugal, seeks a Senior Frontend Developer to lead frontend decisions and collaborate on modern web applications using Angular or React. You will ensure outstanding user experiences and maintain high coding standards.

Qualificações

• Deep knowledge of state management, routing, forms and component architecture.
• Experience with frontend testing: Jest, Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright.
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility and progressive enhancement.
• English B2+ for clear technical and product communication.
• Experience with Next.js, SSR/SSG and modern rendering strategies.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who cares as much about architecture as they do about user experience. You’ll work on modern web applications built with Angular or React — leading frontend decisions, setting standards and collaborating closely with design, backend and product teams.

You’re senior because you’ve been there: you know why global state is dangerous, why accessibility matters, and why ‘it works on my machine’ isn’t enough. You can mentor others and make the whole team better.

What You’ll Do

• Build responsive, accessible and high‑performance web applications
• Define and evolve frontend architecture, component structure and coding standards
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers and product managers
• Implement REST and GraphQL API integrations with robustness and error handling
• Ensure quality through unit tests, integration tests and thorough code reviews
• Optimize performance, bundle size, loading time and accessibility (WCAG)
• Mentor mid and junior developers through reviews, pairing and technical guidance

What We Need From You

• Deep knowledge of state management, routing, forms and component architecture
• Experience with frontend testing: Jest, Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility and progressive enhancement
• English B2+ — clear technical and product communication
• Experience with Next.js, SSR/SSG and modern rendering strategies
• Knowledge of RxJS, NgRx, Redux, Zustand or TanStack Query
• Experience with design systems, Storybook or token‑based styling
• Experience building or consuming micro‑frontend architectures
