team.it is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular) to lead enterprise frontend initiatives in Porto, Portugal. You will own features end-to-end, develop scalable interfaces, and collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering enterprise frontend applications using Angular.

Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular) - Is that you?

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable and maintainable frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Design and implement responsive user interfaces and micro frontend solutions integrated with backend services through REST APIs.
• Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, performance, security, and application quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver effective digital solutions.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, engineering standards, and technical decision-making.
• Apply modern development practices including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and continuous delivery.
• Drive technical improvements, solve complex challenges, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the engineering community.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software engineering.
• Proven experience developing enterprise applications with Angular and delivering complex frontend solutions within cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of product-oriented software development and the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to translate business requirements, UX concepts, and user needs into scalable frontend solutions.
• Experience balancing usability, accessibility, performance, maintainability, security, and delivery objectives.
• Strong collaboration skills across Product, UX, Backend Engineering, and business teams.
• Strong expertise in Angular, including modern versions and enterprise-scale application development.
• Experience designing responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and collaborating with backend engineering teams.
• Knowledge of Web Components and micro frontend architectures.
• Experience with state management solutions, preferably NgRx Store.
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using Cypress and similar frameworks.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, SonarQube, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of frontend architecture and end-to-end system interactions within enterprise environments.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of jQuery for maintaining or modernizing legacy applications.
• Angular certifications.
• Web Accessibility certifications.
• Software Architecture certifications.
• Strong ownership and accountability with the ability to drive technical topics end-to-end.
• Commitment to engineering excellence, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.
