Decskill, an IT consulting company with a strong global presence, is seeking a Senior FinOps Engineer to lead cloud cost optimization and governance across Azure. You will design FinOps practices, develop cost allocation models, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve visibility and forecasting.

Key focus areas include Azure infrastructure, data services, dashboards in Power BI, and continuous improvements to cost efficiency in a dynamic, international context.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 years of experience in FinOps and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
• Minimum 4 years implementing and operating the FinOps Foundation Framework across Inform, Optimize, and Operate.
• Strong experience in Azure infrastructure, data platform components, and services.
• Good knowledge of Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Mandatory certifications: AZ-305 and related Azure certifications.
• Knowledge and experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

We are looking for an Senior FinOps Engineer!

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate FinOps practices aligned with the FinOps Foundation Framework, covering all three phases: Inform, Optimize, and Operate.


• Develop and maintain FinOps processes, governance models, cost allocation strategies, and cloud financial management practices.


• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across Azure environments, identifying cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining performance and reliability.


• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and cost insights using Power BI to support decision‑making and financial transparency.


• Collaborate with technical, financial, and business stakeholders to improve cloud cost visibility, forecasting, budgeting, and optimization initiatives.


• Support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, including data‑related services and components.


• Provide recommendations and best practices for cloud architecture, resource utilization, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in FinOps and Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.


• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience implementing and operating the FinOps Foundation Framework, including the design and execution of processes across the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases.


• Strong experience in implementing and operating Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including data platform components and services.


• Good knowledge of Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
