Decskill is seeking a Junior FinOps Engineer to join our growing team in Portugal. You will assist in optimizing cloud costs and governance for Microsoft Azure, supporting FinOps practices, and collaborating with stakeholders across technical and business units.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of FinOps and Azure experience, and a strong willingness to learn new technologies. This is a hybrid role with opportunities for growth within a global IT consulting group.

Qualificações

• 1 year of experience in FinOps and Microsoft Azure technologies.
• 1 year of experience operating the FinOps Foundation Framework across Inform, Optimize and Operate phases.
• 1 year of experience in implementing and operating Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Support finite ops practices aligned with FinOps Foundation Framework in Inform, Optimize and Operate phases.
• Assist in monitoring and optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization in Azure.

We are looking for an Junior FinOps Engineer!

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and continuous improvement of FinOps practices aligned with the FinOps Foundation Framework, across the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases.
• Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud costs and resource utilization within Azure environments.
• Contribute to cloud cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and governance activities.
• Support the implementation and operation of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with technical, financial, and business stakeholders to improve cloud cost visibility and efficiency.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of cost optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of FinOps processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in FinOps and Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating the FinOps Foundation Framework, including activities across the Inform, Optimize, and Operate phases.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the implementation and operation of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong willingness and ability to learn new technologies and FinOps practices.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is considered a plus.
