Decskill is growing and seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our IT consulting team in Lisbon. You will validate reference architectures, support deployments, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Azure-based projects at Digital Factory, across dev and production environments.

You’ll work with Azure Functions, OpenAI services, and AI tools, plus CI/CD with GitHub Actions. Strong collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and autonomous work style are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and production-ready architectures.
• Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based apps and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevOps and MLOps practices, CI/CD, and scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Validate new reference architectures for Azure deployments.
• Support project alignment with established reference architectures.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Assist end-to-end infrastructure and pipeline deployments for Digital Factory projects.
• Provide tech support and issue resolution across Digital Factory teams.

We would like to meet a Cloud Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Validation of new reference architectures.
• Support for projects and applications ensuring alignment with the reference architectures developed.
• Creation and maintenance of detailed technical documentation.
• Support for the end-to-end implementation of infrastructure and pipeline management for projects developed at Digital Factory, including provisioning, pipeline construction, and deployments.
• Technical support and issue resolution for the various teams at Digital Factory.

Requirements:

• Proven experience on setup and maintaining Azure infrastructure - production-ready and adhering to the best practices, namely:
• * Proven experience developing and deploying applications on Azure
• * Azure Functions and Logic Apps: Experience building serverless applications.
• * Azure OpenAI Service: Experience with deploying and using models like GPT-4 and text embedding models.
• * Azure AI Search / AI Foundry: Knowledge of creating and managing vector stores for similarity search.
• * Data Factory and Databricks for ingestion pipelines
• * Azure Blob Storage for cloud storage solutions
• * CosmosDB: Knowledge of creating and managing long-term memory
• * Application Insights: Knowledge of logging setup
• * DevOps & MLOps:
• * Proven CI/CD principles and scripting for automation, namely GitHub Actions.
• * Proficiency with Docker for containerizing applications, Azure Container Registry as a plus.
• * Experience deploying applications to multiple environments (e.g., dev, production) on Azure.
• * Secrets management using Azure Key Vault, GitHub and HashiCorp Vault
• * API and External Services Integration
• * Setting REST APIs based on WebApps (Fast API) and Azure Functions.
• * Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, and token-based authentication.
• * Management Tools
• * ServiceNow: good knowledge of ServiceNow (or equivalent) for ticket registration and tracking
• * Jira/Confluence: good knowledge of Jira for activity tracking.
• Proven ability to track and supervise the resolution of several ongoing issues (using Kanban/Scrum) with good organization skills and ability to provide status feedback
• Good communication skills and ability to obtain results from other teams
• Autonomous and problem solver
