Job summary

HN Services Portugal is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting & Data Governance to join our strategic international programme focused on third-party data management and governance across a global organisation.

You will define and apply accounting adjustments, interpret items for consolidated statements, and monitor IFRS and French accounting standards, while enhancing data quality and governance across business, compliance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in group accounting with IFRS and consolidation.
• Knowledge of French accounting standards (IFRS) for consolidated statements.
• Strong data skills including statistical analysis and data governance.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting & Data Governance

Who We're Looking For:

A person to join a strategic international programme transforming third-party data management across a global organisation. The programme is building a trusted reference database, strengthening end-to-end data governance and delivering data services to business, compliance and operations teams.

Professional Experience & Main Tasks

• Define and apply accounting adjustments in line with business management rules.
• Interpret and adjust accounting items for consolidated financial statements.
• Monitor French and international accounting standards.
• Map accounting flows, including changes resulting from new standards.
• Assess and validate data sources, prioritising their use and confirming their certification status.
• Contribute to the quality and governance of internal and external data.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in financial analysis and group accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of French accounting standards and IFRS, particularly for consolidated financial statements.
• Strong data skills, including statistical analysis.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• A rigorous, analytical and organised approach, with the ability to manage priorities and collaborate across teams.
