Oyster is seeking a Senior Employment Counsel to shape the future of global distributed work. You will advise internal teams and external stakeholders on employment law across multiple jurisdictions, focusing on an employment-as-a-platform model.

The role requires 4+ years of experience and deep expertise in employment law, with strong drafting, policy management, and cross-border advisory skills. Remote-friendly with collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience practicing employment law, preferably in both law firm and in-house settings.
• Strong understanding of EOR model and cross-border employment matters.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance for non-legal audiences.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain employment templates, policies, and processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and drive required changes.
• Partner with Product and People teams to design compliant employment solutions.
• Advise on employment law across the employee lifecycle from hiring to termination.
• Develop scalable employment guidance and documentation for Oyster's global footprint.
