Job summary

Gartner seeks a Senior Director in the Business and Technology Insights group to lead research and client advisory on digital asset platforms, tokenization, and regulatory considerations. You will shape insights, present at events, and collaborate with global teams to address client needs and industry challenges.

The role requires 12+ years in fintech/advisory, strong writing and communication, and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 3+ years in payments, fintech, enterprise technology, or advisory roles with exposure to large enterprise or government clients.
• Strong understanding of tokenization, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, blockchain, and the digital asset regulatory landscape.
• Familiarity with enterprise processes and architectures that integrate digital asset capabilities.
• Executive presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, must-have insights content.
• Develop new insights and actionable approaches to client needs.
• Analyze and identify root causes to drive client strategy forward.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide independent, provocative insights to guide Gartner's research agenda.
• Research market trends and provide actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Offer practical advice to clients via virtual or face-to-face engagements.
• Create high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales by sharing market voice to drive client engagement.
• Provide timely content reviews and uphold research quality.
• Build credibility as Gartner's research methodology ambassador.
• Collaborate with peers to discuss research and process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a client-centric mindset.
