Job summary

Volkswagen Group Services Portugal is seeking a Senior Business and Transformation Consultant for our Lisboa Consulting team. You will support transformation initiatives, oversee projects from concept to delivery, and drive data-driven improvements across VW Group operations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and fluent English. A hybrid work model with international exposure and travel when needed is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, project management, business transformation, or a related area.
• Experience leading complex projects, ideally within international or corporate environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics and develop actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel when required by project needs.

Responsibilities

• Transformation Consulting: Support Volkswagen Group companies in identifying improvement opportunities, assessing business needs, and developing solutions to support their transformation objectives.
• Project Management & Delivery: Plan, coordinate, and monitor transformation initiatives from initial assessment and concept development through implementation, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Business Analysis & Problem Solving: Analyze business processes, structure complex challenges, identify risks and dependencies, and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, standardize processes, and implement sustainable improvements across business functions.
• Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops, lead project meetings, and communicate effectively with stakeholders across different organizational levels, functions, and cultures.
• Change & Implementation Support: Support the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working, helping ensure that transformation initiatives translate into tangible business outcomes.
• Internal Development & Business Growth: Contribute to internal consulting initiatives, knowledge sharing, methodology development, and business development activities.

We are currently looking for a Senior Business and Transformation Consultant to join our Consulting team in Lisboa, supporting transformation projects across Volkswagen Group.

Our Consulting department combines project management, business and strategic advisory, and continuous improvement expertise to help our partners address business challenges, optimize processes, and successfully implement change.

What will your responsibilities be?
