Avanai is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and client on-premises servers. You will design IaC, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure scalable, secure, and highly available platforms for AI-powered solutions.

You will implement Kubernetes across environments, automate deployments with GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), and enforce security, monitoring, and disaster recovery best practices in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience managing bare metal servers and on-prem infrastructures, including provisioning and config management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Kubernetes and container tech expertise (Docker, containerd, CRI-O); self-hosted Kubernetes on bare metal.
• IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or equivalent) for cloud and bare metal.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD and pipelines for complex apps.
• Strong Linux admin and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, VLANs).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
• Security best practices: secrets management, encryption, compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Scripting (Python, Bash, Go) for automation.
• GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux; service mesh knowledge (Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infra across AWS, Azure, GCP and bare metal for client needs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
• Apply IaC with Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, or bare metal) including Helm, service mesh, autoscaling.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerts with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or CloudWatch.
• Enforce security boundaries: secrets management and IAM policies; ensure compliance.
• Administer databases and ensure backup, recovery, and performance.
• Collaborate with devs to optimize deployments and reliability.
• Implement DR strategies with multi-region deployments and failover.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or Go.
