payabl. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and scale our infrastructure, collaborating with multiple product teams and supporting the Data engineering team. You will deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, implement infrastructure as code, and automate CI/CD with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.

You’ll work with AWS Data Lake services (Glue, Athena), Terraform/Ansible, and monitor systems with Prometheus and Grafana. Strong English communication and a drive to coach juniors are expected.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency provisioning infrastructure and managing configurations with Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Data Lake services (Glue, Athena).
• Linux experience with Bash/Python/Perl scripting; familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL.
• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Nice to have Kafka knowledge.
• Willingness to coach junior team members.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and deploy apps with Helm using a code-first approach (infrastructure as code).
• Collaborate with other teams to identify pain points in the platform.
• Develop tools and frameworks to improve data platforms.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana.
• Implement security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor teammates.
