Job summary

Oramix is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead and optimize enterprise Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments in Lisbon, Portugal. The role focuses on performance tuning, backups, upgrades, and DR/HA strategies, with a strong emphasis on automation and script development.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, and SQL Server Always On, and is comfortable working across Linux/Unix and Windows Server platforms.

Qualifications

• Senior DBA with professional experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Active Data Guard.
• Experience with SQL Server Always On and high availability solutions.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
• Solid scripting skills in PL/SQL and/or T-SQL.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
