Job summary

Syone in Porto is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator with a DevOps mindset to ensure database stability, performance, security, and automation across Oracle environments.

You will maintain production and non-production databases, analyze incidents, manage change requests, and develop automation to improve operations. The role requires 3+ years of Oracle DBA experience and fluency in English and Portuguese.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle 19c and RAC architecture.
• Experience with RMAN and Oracle Data Guard.
• Proficient at debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation and scripting.
• Familiar with ticketing systems.
• Fluent English (B2) and Portuguese proficiency.
• Knowledge of other databases (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong experience with Oracle 19c.
• Experience with Oracle RAC and Single Instance.
• Knowledge of RMAN and Oracle Data Guard.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automation and scripting.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• English B2 and proficiency in Portuguese.
• Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB is a plus.
