Job summary

Inetum is seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to manage and operate mission-critical Oracle database environments. You will work autonomously to maintain system stability, performance, security, and DR capabilities across complex deployments.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, upgrades, backups with RMAN/Data Guard/Commvault, and automation initiatives. Strong Linux/Unix experience and English (B2) are required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 12c and 19c.
• Experience with Data Guard, RMAN, and Commvault.
• Unix/Linux environments expertise, preferably Oracle Linux.
• Scripting and operational task automation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operation of Oracle database environments, including monitoring and tuning.
• Manage Oracle infrastructures: installations, configurations, patching and upgrades.
• Administer backup, recovery, and DR using RMAN, Data Guard, and Commvault.
• Ensure database security, access control and encryption mechanisms.
• Participate in migrations and modernization projects.
• Create and improve procedures and technical documentation.
• Drive automation and proactive monitoring for service improvement.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure platform reliability.

We are looking for a Senior Oracle DBA to join a team responsible for managing and operating mission-critical database environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the day-to-day operation of Oracle database environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Manage Oracle infrastructures, performing installations, configurations, patching, and upgrades.
• Administer backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes using RMAN, Data Guard, and Commvault.
• Ensure database availability, security, and compliance, including access management and encryption mechanisms.
• Participate in migration, implementation, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Create, maintain, and improve operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Drive automation, proactive monitoring, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams and other IT areas to ensure platform reliability and stability.

Qualifications

Desired Profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 12c and 19c.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, ASM, RMAN, and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) administration and monitoring.
• Experience with Commvault backup and recovery solutions.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, preferably Oracle Enterprise Linux.
• Experience with scripting and operational task automation.
• Proven background managing high-availability, production-critical environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is considered a plus.

Languages:

• English (B2 level minimum) is mandatory.
• French is a plus.
