Scrambly in Portugal is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to own end-to-end modelling for value forecasting, acquisition costs, and fraud controls. You will build and evaluate models, collaborate with engineers on data pipelines, and align analytics with business decisions.

Qualificações

• 4+ years as a data scientist working on production models that drive real decisions.
• Hands-on experience with LTV or ROAS prediction and related challenges.
• Adtech or mobile performance marketing background is highly relevant.
• Strong Python and SQL with cloud data warehouse experience (BigQuery preferred).
• Rigour in evaluation, out-of-sample testing, and metrics aligned to business goals.
• Experience shipping models to production and using them for decisions.
• Commercial judgement and clear communication to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-directed work style in a small team.
• English at B2+ (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Value prediction: forecast user and cohort value from early behaviour and maintain accuracy.
• Bidding and pricing: model spending limits and acquisition costs while learning.
• Segmentation and targeting: create scoring to treat users and inventory by value.
• Fraud and abuse: improve fraud models and balance accuracy with user fairness.
• Evaluation: define metrics, backtesting, and out-of-sample discipline; monitor live models.
• Collaboration: work with Head of Data, engineers on data pipelines and with commercial teams.
