Job summary

team.blue is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve our central data ecosystem. You will design scalable data products, govern data assets, and enable AI initiatives across 60+ sub-brands in Europe and beyond.

Lead the architecture, optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, and mentor engineers while partnering with Analytics, ML, and AI teams to deliver trusted data for strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data management.
• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science, STEM, or related field.
• Proven track record deploying high-performance data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize our Data Infrastructure including Databricks, Airflow, dbt, GitLab & AWS.
• Design and deliver scalable data products for 60+ brands across Europe.
• Build and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines with low latency for downstream users.
• Lead architectural decisions, governance, and observability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, ML, and AI teams.
