Nordea Asset Management Portugal is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to advance a Snowflake-based data platform, migrating data pipelines, and building scalable data tools. The role is part of an international, agile team focused on finance analytics and ESG-conscious data practices.

The position is based in Oeiras, Portugal, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end delivery, modern CI/CD, and an ownership mindset. You will contribute to AI-driven initiatives and data mesh strategies within NAM.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building data platforms and pipelines with modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Developing the NAM Data Platform by integrating new data sources and implementing transformations to meet evolving business requirements.
• Building a semantic model that enables effective business reporting and analysis.
• Developing internal tools to support NAM's migration to the NAM Data Platform.
• Contributing to the migration of our data warehouse to the NAM Data Platform.
• Continuously improving the platform by adopting relevant technologies, tools, and engineering patterns as they emerge.
• You'll join a motivated, international, agile, cross-functional and end-to-end team. The role is based in Quinta da Fonte (Oeiras).
