Nordea Asset Management is seeking a seasoned Lead Data Architect to design and build the enterprise data foundation. You will shape the data platform on Snowflake with Data Mesh, govern data products, and collaborate with business domains to deliver scalable data solutions.

You will work closely with the Head of Data & AI Acceleration and CDO, guiding architectural direction and standing up standards that scale across NAM.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering or data modelling.
• Strong cloud-based data platform design experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Experience with Data Mesh, domain-driven design and federated governance is preferred.
• Financial services experience is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Own the target data architecture for NAM, including domain boundaries and data products.
• Design and hands-on build data models and products in Snowflake and dbt.
• Drive architectural decisions with cross-domain collaboration.
• Define reference architectures, design principles and architecture decision records.
• Translate business processes into scalable, reusable data products with domains like Investments and Finance.
• Design ingestion and integration landscapes across sources, vendors, batch and streaming data.
• Embed governance with metadata, lineage, access models and policy enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and non-functional requirements.
• Partner with Groups Technology on cloud and infrastructure standards.
• Support analytics, AI and agentic solutions built on the data foundation.
• Coach engineers and analysts to raise architecture maturity.
