LGG Advisors is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric experience to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms for financial services clients. You will lead data engineering initiatives within a growing Digital & AI team, shaping modern cloud-native architectures.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering or architecture, strong SQL/Python, and hands-on Fabric across the data lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Development, or Data Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years’ proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric across the end-to-end data lifecycle.
• Proven implementation of Medallion Architecture in production environments.
• Experience with Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, and Power BI Semantic Models
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and modern cloud data architectures.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience implementing data governance, security, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade data platforms utilizing Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
• Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) for scalable analytics solutions.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, quality, modeling, and analytics.
• Develop solutions using Fabric Data Factory OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks, Semantic Models, and Power BI.
• Design scalable ETL/ELT processes and data models supporting enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Implement best practices in data governance, security, quality, lineage, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineers, product owners, and client stakeholders in agile environments.
• Document technical designs and communicate architecture decisions effectively.

LGG is looking to expand its Digital & AI team with a Senior Data Engineer who will work with clients in the design, implementation, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale data platforms. This role is designed for a senior professional with 5+ years of experience who is ready to lead data engineering initiatives while contributing to complex client transformation programs.

Description

• Design, migrate and implement modern cloud-native data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and similar platforms, accelerating data-driven transformation.

Responsibilities
