Job summary

knok is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design robust, scalable data systems and pipelines. You will transform data into valuable insights to support decision-making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include combining data from multiple sources, building and maintaining ETL workflows, and ensuring data quality and reliability across platforms. You will collaborate with analysts, product managers and other stakeholders on cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar (Master's a plus).
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python (OOP, unit testing, APIs).
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Combine raw data from multiple sources into consistent and machine-readable formats.
• Design, build and maintain data systems and ETL pipelines.
• Monitor, test and optimise data flows.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover meaningful insights.
• Translate business needs into data solutions.
• Improve data quality, accessibility and reliability.
• Develop and maintain analytical tools and reporting frameworks.
