Fountain is seeking a senior data engineer to own the agentic buildout and data platform evolution. You’ll design workflows, ensure governance, and partner with engineering, product, and GTM to deploy scalable analytics across the company.

Ideal candidates bring deep modeling and SQL skills, hands-on dbt/orchestration experience, and a track record shipping agentic or LLM-powered systems to production. You’ll influence cross-functional teams and own critical data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering or similar field.
• Deep SQL and analytical data modeling skills.
• Hands-on production experience with dbt and orchestration tools (Dagster/Airflow).
• Strong Python and software engineering practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• Experience shipping agentic/LLM-powered systems to production.
• Good understanding of data governance and PII in multi-tenant environments.
• Proven ability to influence and bring people along with changes.

Responsabilités

• Design and build the agentic development workflow for the data team.
• Push the team’s reach upstream into the product to shape data features.
• Build the evaluation layer with regression suites and observability.
• Develop agentic analytics capabilities for multiple departments.
• Drive adoption by partnering with GTM, Finance, Product and Support.
• Stay hands-on in the platform and fix issues as they arise.
