Planet is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve a modern data platform focused on Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt. You will architect scalable data pipelines, data models, and trusted data products powering analytics, AI, and operations.

You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and AI Engineers to ensure data accuracy, security, and availability, while guiding engineering standards and governance across the platform.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Extensive experience building and operating ELT/ETL pipelines in production.
• Advanced SQL for large datasets.
• Hands-on data ingestion with Fivetran and API-based patterns.
• dbt for transformation, testing, and dimensional modelling.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines using ELT tools and APIs.
• Lead integration of new data sources into Snowflake with reusable ingestion patterns.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for analytics, AI, and operations.
• Define ingestion patterns for incremental, CDC, full refresh, and near real-time data.
• Develop and maintain reverse ETL pipelines to deliver trusted data to systems.
