Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior COBOL Developer to join the Post-Trade team. You will analyse, design, develop and maintain COBOL components that support Post-Trade processing and data flows, shaping reliable systems used by our clients.

You will work in a hybrid environment with regular collaboration, tackling incidents, performing design reviews and contributing to testing and delivery while growing your technical and domain expertise in mainframe technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with COBOL and mainframe environments.
• Experience with Db2, SQL, batch processing and data flows.
• Knowledge of JCL, Git, CI/CD, and Bash/Unix scripting.
• Experience with RPG is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of Java or experience in the banking sector is a plus.
