Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technology teams in Post-Trade Operations. You will gather requirements, document workflows, and produce specifications and user stories to support trading processes.

Hybrid work model (2/3 times a week) is offered, with a focus on integrity, teamwork, and professional growth within a global group. Strong banking domain knowledge and testing involvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst within the banking industry.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and documentation.
• Solid knowledge of Post-Trade workflows such as trade confirmation, settlement, cash/securities movements, and accounting/reconciliation.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, SWIFT messaging standards, ISO 15022, and ISO 20022.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging business and IT teams effectively.
• Hands-on involvement in testing activities (SIT, UAT) and providing functional support.

What will you do?

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting the delivery of functional changes and enhancements across Post-Trade Operations.
• Gather, analyse, and document complex business and functional requirements.
• Produce detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
• Identify and document end-to-end Post-Trade workflows, including trade confirmation, settlement, cash and securities movements, and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with development and integration teams throughout solution design, implementation, and testing phases (SIT/UAT).
• Provide functional support and clarifications throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
